Rakuten Mobile and Science Arts Integrate Rakuten AI for Business with Buddycom to Drive Frontline Voice AI Innovation

Tokyo, May 19, 2026 – Rakuten Mobile, Inc. and Science Arts, Inc. today announced a new initiative to integrate Rakuten AI for Business, a generative AI service for enterprise clients, with Buddycom, a live communication platform provided by Science Arts. This collaboration aims to promote the utilization of voice data captured during frontline operations to significantly improve business efficiency.

Rakuten Mobile and Science Arts previously entered into a capital and business alliance agreement* on October 15, 2024, to strengthen sales of corporate mobile plans combining both Rakuten Saikyo Plan Business and Buddycom. As the latest development under this alliance, new services integrating Rakuten AI for Business with Buddycom are currently in development and scheduled for a phased rollout starting in 2026.

By combining the expertise and technologies cultivated through their ongoing collaboration, Rakuten Mobile and Science Arts will continue to jointly develop services that drive digital transformation and provide added value to clients through the power of voice and AI.
