Tokyo, July 24, 2026 - Rakuten Mobile, Inc. today announced the expansion of its smartphone lineup to include Motorola devices, beginning with the new moto g37j. Preorders for the device start today at 10 a.m. Japan Standard Time on the official Rakuten Mobile website. The smartphone will be available for purchase starting 9 a.m. on July 31 via the official website and at Rakuten Mobile shops nationwide*¹.

The moto g37j combines meticulous design with high-level functionality, featuring unique textures and materials across its four distinct color options.

Customers who switch to Rakuten Mobile from another carrier and sign up for the Rakuten Saikyo Plan or Rakuten Saikyo U-NEXT alongside the purchase of the moto g37j are eligible for up to 16,000 Rakuten Points. This promotion brings the cost of the device down to essentially 13,800 yen from its retail price of 29,800 yen (tax included)*^2,3,4,5.

Developed in collaboration with PANTONE®, the global authority on color, the moto g37j is available in four colors, each defined by its own distinct material and finish, offering a premium feel that matches users’ preferences. The device is equipped with a 6.72-inch large-screen display and stereo speakers compatible with Dolby Atmos®, providing an immersive audio-visual experience. A 120Hz refresh rate ensures smooth performance for video streaming, social media browsing and gaming.

Additional features include biometric authentication (fingerprint and face), Osaifu-Keitai® (mobile contactless payment) and dual-SIM support (nanoSIM and eSIM) for 5G connectivity*⁹.
