Unsolicited Idea Submission Policy

The sole purpose of this policy is to avoid potential misunderstandings or disputes when products or marketing strategies of Rakuten Mobile, Inc. and each of its subsidiaries (including Rakuten Symphony, Inc., hereinafter referred to as, “Rakuten”) might seem similar to ideas submitted to Rakuten.

However, as a matter of policy, Rakuten or any of Rakuten's employees do not accept or consider unsolicited Ideas from others.

Please do not submit any information related to unsolicited Ideas, original creative artwork, suggestions or other works (hereinafter referred to as “Submission”) to Rakuten or any of its employees.

If you submit any information to Rakuten, then by making the Submission, you agree that the following terms apply, regardless of any contrary statements accompanying your Submission.

  1. (1) Acceptance of your submission imposes no obligations on Rakuten, and in particular;
    1. a. Rakuten has no obligation to acknowledge or review your Submission, or otherwise respond to you in any way regarding your Submission.
    2. b. Rakuten has no obligation to keep your Submission confidential and may publish or otherwise publicly disclose your Submission in any existing or later developed media.
  2. (2) Your Submission and its contents automatically become the property of Rakuten, without any compensation of any kind owed to you.
  3. (3) Rakuten may use or redistribute your submission and its contents for any purpose and in any way, including, but not limited to, using it in Rakuten’s new products or services, or to improve Rakuten’s existing products or services.
