Rakuten Mobile Launches "Rakuten AI for Business" Generative AI Service for Corporate Clients
Tokyo, January 29, 2025 - Rakuten Mobile, Inc. today announced the launch of the "Rakuten AI for Business" generative AI service to support a wide range of business activities for corporate clients. Featuring superior language comprehension and task processing capabilities, the AI service quickly displays the most suitable responses to user requests and supports business tasks such as document creation, translation, brainstorming, analysis and research via a chat interface.
Rakuten AI for Business is optimized for Japanese culture, regulations and business customs, leveraging the Rakuten Group's experience and expertise in sales, operations and marketing to empower businesses.
Customers can immediately use the service in-browser and there are no system setup requirements for individual companies. This makes Rakuten AI for Business an easy and cost-effective generative AI service to deploy. The service is available at a monthly rate of 1,100 yen (tax included) per license*1. New customers will also receive a one-month trial free of charge to learn how to implement the service in business operations*2*3*4.
The service features a suite of convenient business tools for use in a secure environment, and user input is never used as AI model training data without permission. In addition, Rakuten AI for Business enables companies to manage the registration of confidential internal information to block “restricted words” from being sent to the AI model.
The service also has a wide range of functions designed to improve business efficiency for corporate clients and facilitate smooth AI integration for even first-time users including: Job-specific and customizable prompt templates that leverage Rakuten Group’s successful AI use cases, a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) function that links to internal documents to provide the latest and most suitable information and a Utilization Dashboard to monitor employee usage*5.
Finally, customers can use Rakuten AI for Business whenever, wherever on both PCs and on synced smartphones, providing flexibility for diverse work styles and business environments.
